Homer A. Chambers, 94, of Katy and formerly of Cameron, died Thursday, November 27, 2014, in a Katy nursing facility. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, December 2, 2014, in St. Monica’s Cemetery Mausoleum with Deacon Don Sims officiating.
Homer was born in Cameron, Texas, to the late Bert and Maudie (Weems) Chambers. He was a U. S. Army Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith, in 2004.
Survivors include his son, Eugene C. Chambers, of Katy; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Geraldine Carothers, of Danville, California; other relatives and many friends.
