Wendle Odell Balch, 68 of Cameron died Tuesday, January 13 at his home. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Davilla Assembly of God Church in Davilla. Family visitation will be held Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the chapel.
Wendle, a machinist by trade, was born December 28, 1935 in Kemp, Texas to Floyd C. and Izola B. Suzie Balch. He married Marrianne Wilson on July 3, 1983. He was a member of the Davilla Assembly of God Church.
He is survived by his wife Marianne Wilson Balch of Cameron; sons Doyle Odell Balch and wife Tracy of Milford, TX and Alan Balch and wife Carol of Temple, TX; step-sons Keith Roberts of McKinney and Daniel Sullivan of Seagoville, TX; step-daughters Denise Stanton and husband Rowell of Carrolton, TX and Jimmie Hutson and husband Larry of Lake Dallas, TX; 6 grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren, and one step great grandson. Wendle is survived by his sister Vera Hildebrand of Greenville, TX, several nephews, nieces and cousins.
Wendle was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
Memorials may be made to the Wendle Balch Memorial Fund in care of Citizens National Bank.
