She was predeceased by an infant son, George, who was buried in this cemetery in 1838. Her other children were: John, Sarah, Elizabeth, Mary Jane, Daniel, Margaret, Nancy, James, and Joseph.
Her husband remarried in 1840, to Catherine Smedley with whom he had four more children. He died in Memphis, Missouri in 1873.
