Ann Rist Torchio, 73, of Summerville, SC, widow of Fred Torchio, died Thursday, Febr. 14, 2008 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at a later date in Evergreen Cemetery in Hobart, IN.

Mrs. Torchio was born on Sept. 6, 1934 in Uniontown, Pa., a daughter of the late Charles William Lonsinger and the late Loma Virginia Rist Lonsinger. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include 4 sons, Dan (Rebecca) Torchio of Summerville, Kenneth Grant of Walterboro, S.C., John (Ramona) Torchio of Levenworth, Kan., Arlie (Stephanie) Lucente of Cleveland, Ohio.; 3 daughters, Lisa Kent and Jody Lonsinger, both of Summerville, Tracy (Richard) Long of York, S.C.; 22 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Fred (Torchy), 1 son Mark , 2 sisters, Sue and Phyllis, and 6 brothers, Wilber, Barry, James, Danny, Micheal, and Douglas.
