Phyllis Elaine Tanner age 81, of Decatur, died Wednesday, January 7, 2014. Born April 15, 1933, Uniontown, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband Vernon Tanner, daughter Nancy Banner and son Vernon Tanner, Jr., Parents: William and Loma Rist Lonsinger, sisters Susan Stickle, Anna Torchio, and brothers: Jimmy, Barry and Douglas Lonsinger. and is survived by sons, brothers, sister in-law, 9 grandchildren, great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 11 o’clock, Monday, January 12, in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home, with Rev. Nolan Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 2-4 at Henry Funeral Home Lithonia.
