Dale M. Holton, 90, of Summerville of Westminster died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2007. Born July 6, 1917, in Altoona, Pa., he was the husband of the late Geraldine Holton. He had served with the U.S. Army 24th Infantry Division during World War II and retired from the Army Reserve. He had worked at Glen L. Martin aircraft plant in Middle River in the 1940s. He retired from the Veterans Administration at Ft. Howard Hospital. Surviving are son and daughter-in-law Jimmie and Linda Holton; grandchildren Lisa Holton and Jennifer Sorrentino; great-grandchildren Kaitlin and Marissa Sorentino; and sibling Marian Craiger. A funeral service will be held at noon Saturday at Connelly Funeral Home, 300 Mace Ave., Baltimore. Interment will be in Alto-Reste Cemetery in Altoona, Pa. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster, MD 21157; or to Summerville of Westminster, 45 Washington Road, Westminster, MD 21157.
