Donna Asenath (Luke) Anderson died December 18, 2007 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She passed away peacefully of natural causes at age 94. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was born to C. L. Luke and Fern M. (Luke) Robinson. She grew up in the home of John and Ella Morrill (her grandparents) in Junction, Utah. In her youth she excelled in athletics and academics. She was also elected as a beauty queen and sang. She had many accomplishments in her long life, received blessings, and did much good. She will always be remembered for her work ethic, neatness, honesty, perseverance and love of nature which she inherited from her grandparents. Her gardens and sunroom were magnificent. She was loyal to her country, faith, and family. Her family was her highest priority. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Ivan Anderson to whom she was married for 62 years. They were sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple. She was the mother of five children: Kerah (deceased), Stanton (Bonnie), Idaho Falls, ID; Mrs. John (Ann) Ciorciari, Princeton, New Jersey; Dr. Kelby (Jan) Chicago, Illinois; and Vance Anderson (deceased). She had eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. She had three sisters: Mrs. (Myrtle) Anderson (deceased), Mrs. Alfred (Denna) Davidson (deceased), Mrs. Frank (Barbra) Walker, Alpine, UT; and one brother LeBaron Robinson (deceased). Services will be on December 31st at the Larkin Mortuary at 260 East South Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah 84111 (801) 363-5781. Family and friends will meet from 9-10 a.m. at the funeral home preceding the funeral service at 10 a.m.
