Georgia B. Anderson, 81, passed away in St. George, Utah, with her two daughters, Renon and Jackie, by her side, July 2, 2007.

She was born Dec. 16, 1925, in Koosharem, the daughter of William Lee and Esther Margaret Anderson Brown.

Georgia graduated from Richfield High School in 1945, where she was an RHS cheerleader. She was known for her flair for fashion, stylish hair, and natural beauty.

Georgia worked in retail for many years and was a real people person. She especially enjoyed working at Ben Franklin's in Richfield. She was very creative and found great pleasure in her arts and crafts. She loved being a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and homemaker.

Georgia was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her favorite calling was that of a teacher, for she loved working with the youth of the church.

Georgia married Shirl N. Anderson in Las Vegas, in 1948. They later divorced. He passed away July 1, 1998, in Draper.

Georgia is survived by her daughters, Renon Margaret Anderson; Jackie Lynn Gaitin, both St. George; granddaughter, Ondraya Lee (Carleton) Watkins; great-grandson, Carleton James "CJ" Watkins III; grandson, Shaun Lee (Emily) Gaitin, all Salt Lake City; sisters, Florence Brown Savage, West Valley City; LaVon Brown (Cale) Cotten, Salt Lake City; and brother, Carlyle (Claudette) Brown, Central Valley. Georgia also had many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and three sisters, Leona Brown, Betty Brown Hollaway and Evelyn Brown Lavender.

Georgia will be dearly missed by everyone.

Funeral services were held July 7, at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield.

Interment was in the Richfield City Cemetery.
