Mrs. Gladys M. McDaniel, 71, died Thursday night at Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
She was a lifelong resident of Millwood. She and her husband, Lester McDaniel, had been married almost 50 years. Her parents were Riley Morgan and Lilla Bennett Morgan.
She was a member of Hargraves Chapel Congregational Methodist Church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Billy (Audrey) Delk, Millwood, Four grandchildren and a great-grandson.
Funeral will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Hargraves Chapel in Millwood. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The body will be taken to the residence in Millwood at 5 p.m. today.
Miles-Odum Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
