Lester McDaniel is the son of John Benjamin and Millie A. Davis; husband of Lilla Gladys Morgan.

Mr. Lester McDaniel, 82, died Sunday morning at his daughter's home in Millwood, following a short illness.
A native and lifelong resident of Ware County, he was a retired farmer, and a member of Indian Mound Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Morgan McDaniel, and his parents John Benjamin McDaniel and Millie Davis McDaniel.

The survivors include his daughter Audrey Delk of Millwood; son-in-law Billy Delk, Waycross; four grandchildren, Leslie Delk (wife Regina), Donna Delk, and Danny Delk (wife Wendy), all of Millwood, and Greg Delk (wife Sonia), Waycross; and eight great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Indian Mound Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Hargraves Chapel Cemetery.

The body will be taken at 3 p.m. today to his daughter's home, 6475 TV Tower Road, and from there to the church at 1 p.m. Tuesday.

Members of the Bennett Bay Hunting Club are asked to meet at the church at 1:40 p.m. to serve as honorary pallbearers. Arrangements are with Music Funeral Home.

The funeral for Mr. Lester McDaniel, 82, was held Tuesday afternoon, at Indian Mound Baptist Church with the Rev. Clayton Davis and the Rev. Keith Lloyd officiating.
Burial was at Hargraves Chapel Cemetery.

Members of the Bennett Bay Hunting Club were honorary pallbearers.

The active pallbearers were Henry McDaniel, Marvin McDaniel, David McDaniel, James Bennett, Joe McKinney, and Steve Bowman. Arrangements were with Music Funeral Home.
