"Miss Virginia Branch, aged 16 years, died at her home at Rhodhiss yesterday after an attack of Spanish influenza. The funeral will be at Morganton today. Only last Friday her father, Mr. William W. Branch, died and was buried on Sunday and the family is again afflicted. The mother has the sympathy of many friends."
