Professional Football Player. After graduating from Cathedral High School in Springfield, Massachusetts, played college football for Notre Dame University. Taken by the Los Angeles Rams in the 10th round of the National Football League draft in 1961, he went on to become a fixture at right offensive guard and tackle for the Rams for fifteen years from 1961 through 1975, one of the longest tenures in team history. He played in the Pro Bowl in 1969, was an All-Pro selection in 1973, and was a team co-captain during his last ten years with the Rams. He was named the Rams' most valuable offensive lineman five times, and five of the Ram teams on which he played won their division. After retiring, Scibelli ran a produce distributorship in Springfield, his hometown.
