Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at Big Creek for Albert Bounds, 85, who died Thursday.
He was the uncle of Mrs. W. C. Sewart.
Interment was at Chapel Hill with the Rev. W. C. Stewart officiating.
A native of Calhoun County, Mr. Bounds lived and died in a radius of five miles of his birth place.
In 1880 he was married to Miss Mollie Aven of Big Creek, who survives. In addition he leave four sons and six daughters and twenty-nine grandchildren.
He was a member of the Methodist Church. Practically all his life was devoted to farming.
