Sue Elizabeth Bowman, 93, died Friday, April 24, 1998, at the Christian Health Care Center in Lexington. Born Feb. 20, 1905, in Mercer County, she was a homemaker and a member of Loyal Benevolent Society 3, Burgin. She was the widow of Dan Bowman. Survivors include two daughters, Bertha Bowman and Beatrice Penman of Danville; one son, Jack Bowman of Danville; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Tuesday, April 28, at Little Zion Baptist Church, Burgin, by Rev. Phillip Yates. Burial was in Robinson-Roe Cemetery.
