Mabel Tucker Allen, 83, of New Washington, died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2007, at Scott Memorial Hospital.
She was born Feb. 10, 1924, in Clark County, the daughter of Other and Sadie Matthews Tucker. She worked at the former Snyders Grocery Store in Chelsea and was a former employee in the cafeteria at Clark Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Bethel Christian Church.
She is survived by one son, Earl Kemp of New Washington; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton "Chip" Allen; one son, Marvin Kemp; and her parents.
The funeral was at Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington. Burial was in Barnes Cemetery.
