She was a daughter of Eli and Margaret Conover Dice, and always lived on the farm where she passed away.
She was united in marriage to Clement Rogers, and to this union were born three daughters, Mrs. Ross Dickenson, of Lafayette, Helen Marea and Vergie and two sons, Vernon at home and Roy of Covington. These with the husband and three sisters, Mrs. Julia Wagner, Mrs. C. C. Webber and Mrs. Jess Bodine and a brother, Ed of California survive her.
Funeral services will be held from the home at 2 p.m. today, conducted by Rev. Bradenburg, interment directed by Crumley and Son following in Mt. Hope cemetery.
Mrs. Rogers was a woman devoted to her home and church and reared a fine family. She will be greatly missed in her home circle and her community."-The Covington Republican, Friday, October 30, 1931
