Lucille Marceaux, 83, of Orange, passed away Wednesday at her residence. Born in Louisiana to Oleaus and Annie (Doucet) Fontenot, she lived in Orange since 1946, had worked as a manager for the Dairy Queen restaurant in Orange and was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Asa Marceaux, her daughter, Rita Beard, her great granddaughter, Twyla Rose Tillman, her brothers, Dennis Fontenot, Ennis Fontenot, Obray Fontenot and Ovey "Black" Fontenot and her sisters, Edith Fontenot Hebert and Mary Fontenot Calhoun.
Survivors include her daughters, Mary Umfrid, Annie Murphy and Mildred Lewis, son, Melton Marceaux, sister, Louise Fontenot Hardin, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
