Beverly A. Miller Heuss, 55, of Lucas, died Sunday afternoon in MedCentral, Mansfield Hospital, following an extended illness.

She was born in, McCaysville, Ga., June 18 1942, the daughter of George W. and Grace L. Haws Miller.

She had lived in Lucas the last 22 years. She graduated from Perrysville High School.

She had worked as a bookkeeper for Lumberman's Insurance Co. and U.S. Insurance Co.

She was a member of the Cook Road Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school, was an AWANA leader and head of women's prayer chain. She had been treasurer of Lucas Athletic Boosters Club.

Surviving are her husband, Paul Heuss, to whom she was married 28 years; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Paul Andrew and Tracy Heuss of Mansfield and Aaron Heuss at home; two stepsons, Mark Heuss of Racine, Wis. and Scott Heuss of Southern Pines, N.C.; one stepdaughter Rena Keough of Mansfield; three grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; her mother, of Perrysville; four brothers, Charles W. Miller of Ashland, Robert G. Miller of Suffolk, Va,; Benny L. Miller of Mansfield and Barry W. Miller of Perrysville.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Cook Road Baptist Church, Mansfield, with the Rev. Jack Hackworth officiating. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery.

Friends may Call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Mansfield.

The Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Lucas Athletic Boosters.
