Mr. Robert "Bob" George Miller, age 83, a resident of Greenville North Carolina, went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. Bob was born in New York on August 21, 1939. He was the son of the late George William Miller and Grace Leota Haws. Bob graduated from Perrysville High School in Perrysville, Ohio. He loved to tell stories of playing football, basketball, and baseball, and fondly remembered being chosen the "Most Athletic." Bob enlisted in the United States Army, and later became a successful businessman with a prominent insurance company. Bob was most proud to have spent the majority of his life immersed in the role of father and grandfather. Bob was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Hampton, Virginia. He served as a member of the choir and was with the men's ministry, where he was a team leader of several response teams for Hurricane Katina in Mississippi. Bob enjoyed restoring antiques and was an expert woodworker.

Bob was preceded in death by his loving parents; 2 beloved brothers; 1 sister and son, William "Bunk" Miller; his wife, Jane Ward Miller of 36 years.

The family will receive friends at Liberty Baptist Church 1021 Big Bethel Road, Hampton, VA from 1:00 – 2:30 followed by graveside services at 3:00 at Parklawn Cemetery, conducted by Pastor Joseph Hunt.
