Jackie C. Davis went to be with her Lord on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003, at her home on White Ash Lane after a long and courageous battle with leukemia and cancer.
Jackie was born Oct. 25, 1918, on a ranch owned by her parents, Oscar and Martha Cabe, in what is now a part of Phoenix, Ariz.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church.
Jackie had a sister, Lucille Larkin, who preceded her in death in 1986.
Jackie is survived by her husband, Charles E. Davis of San Angelo; one son, Bill Lloyd and wife, Carole, of Poth, Texas; step-granddaughter, Mignon Talk of Poth; two grandsons, Keith Lloyd and wife, Lisa, of Austin and Ronnie Lloyd; and great-grandchildren, Russell, Jeremy, Kristen and Chase Lloyd, all of Austin.
Funeral service will be at noon Tuesday, Feb. 4, in Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Charles McDaniel, Tom Miller, Ted Disko, Terry Lloyd, Robert M. Lloyd and Keith Lloyd. Honorary pallbearers will be C.T. Butts and Harold Caraway.
