Caroline Borup, Boise Resident 19 Years, Dies
Mrs. Carolien Borup, 79, resident of Boise for 19 years, died Saturday evening. She was born in Wales in April 1855, and came to the United states in 1872.
Mrs. Borup was long a member of the L.D.S. Churcha nd was married to Carl Borup in the old endowment house at Salt Lake before the temple was built. Her husband, who died eight years ago, was a member of the First Presidency of the L.D.S. Church in Idaho.
Survivors are six sons, Chaarles, David, and Henry of boise, Phlip of Paul, William of Emmett, and Franklin of Huntington park, Calif., two daughters Mrs. Margaret Worthington and Mrs. Sarah Taylor, of Boise; 42 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. There are also two sisters, Mrs. O.B. Hudson of Yakima, WAshington, and Mrs. Elizabeth laird of Eureka Utah.
