EUREKA -- Mrs. Elizabeth Thomas Laird, 73, died at her home here Friday morning.

She was born in Cardiff, South Wales December 17, 1863, a daughter of Phillip and Margaret Bynon Thomas. After joining the LDS church in South Wales, her parents emigrated to Utah in 1871, locating in Goshen. Mrs. Laird was married there to William Thomas Laird, February 5, 1883. Mr. Laird died several years ago.

She is survived by a son, Robert Laird, Eureka; three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Tomlinson, Eureka; Mrs. Winifred Todd, Pasadena, Cal., and Mrs. Flora Adams, Bakersfield, Cal.; 13 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Margaret Hudson, Yakima, Wash.

Funeral rites will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Goshen LDS Ward chapel. Interment will be in the Goshen Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Claudin Funeral Home in Payson until Saturday afternoon and at the residence in Eureka.
