Electa married William Henry Andus, son of Hardin and Sarah "Sally" (Benjamin) Andrus. They moved to Richmond, MN where William died on 23 Aug 1858. Following that, Electa moved her family back to Berkshire to live on a farm owned by Electa's father Warren Chaffee.
