LARUE – Foster "Speck" R. Boose, 80, formerly of the Larue area of Glen Rock RD 2, who was a lifetime farmer, died early Wednesday morning at the Leader Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Dallastown, where he had been a resident since 1986. He was the husband of Rosella P. (Sterner) Boose. He and his wife had celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary March 12.
The service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Geiple Funeral Home Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock. Burial will be in Zion (Shaffer's) Union Cemetery.
Mr. Boose was born in Springfield Township, the son of the late Henry W. and Maria (Bailey) Boose.
Mr. Boose also is survived by a sister, Edna Jones, Glen Rock; and a brother, Henry Boose, Seven Valleys.
