Maria was the wife of Henry W. Boose, and the daughter of Jacob R. and Sarah (Markel) Bailey.
Mrs. Maria Bailey Boose was born February 16, 1876, and died at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Frazier Lusk, Larue, Pa., August 10, 1954, aged 78 years, 5 months, and 24 days.
Mrs. Boose had been a life-long resident of the community where she died. She was the mother of a large family. In spite of the fact that she lost her husband more than 40 years ago she kept her family intact, and was a respected neighbor and friend. She had been a member of Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church for more than 50 years.
The funeral services were held from the Geiple Funeral Home, Glen Rock, Pa., on Thursday afternoon, August 12, 1954. The funeral text was Psalm 90. Burial was made in the Shaffer's Church Cemetery.
