Michael married Mariah E. Rominger, daughter of Benjamin Rominger, in Bartholomew Co. IN 31 Aug 1854. They had four children: Felix Nathaniel, Anna Catherine, Clara Christine and Mary Ellen (Mollie). Mariah died in Bartholomew Co. in 1864. It is not known where she is buried. After Mariah's death Michael married Elizabeth Eve Spraker in Bartholomew County.
