Died as a result of the May 11, 1970 tornado, Lubbock, Texas.
Services are pending at Sanders Funeral Home for Mrs. Ruth Knight, 63, of 2201-A Mesa Road, a victim of the tornado which struck the area late Monday.
Mrs. Knight, who moved to Lubbock from McAlester, Okla., in 1947, was a home economist for Furr's Supermarkets and had operated Lifetime Awning Co.
She was a graduate of Ohio State University and was a member of Lubbock Women's Club.
Survivors include her husband, E. C; (Jake) Knight; and two sisters, Mrs. O. J. Cox of Orlando, Fla., and Mrs. D. W. Buchanan of Dallas.
