Robert E. Frensley, 76, of 3032 Highland Ave., died at 4 AM Thursday at the Sharpstown General Hospital in Houston.

A native of Fort Parker, Texas he lived in Port Arthur since 1921. He was a member of the First Christian Church and retired from the security department of Gulf Oil in 1967 after 29 years service.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM. Saturday at the Clayton Thompson Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Survivors include his wife, Thelma Frensley, Port Arthur; one son, Bob Frensley, Houston; one brother George Frensley, Port Arthur; four sisters, Catherine Herrin, Susie Mabry, Marguerite Ciccosanti and Marie Hall, all of Port Arthur; two grandchildren, Diana Kay Frensley and Sharon Gaze, both of Houston.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 PM today at the Clayton Thompson Funeral Home. In lieu of usual remembrances, please make donations to the Campus Crusade for Christ.
