CASIAS -- AGNES Agnes (Ignacita Trujillo) Casias, born January 15, 1905, passed away at home on January 23, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, Max Casias; her son, Max Albert; daughters, Beatrice and Jennie. A lifelong resident of New Mexico, our beloved mother is survived by her children, Marcella B. Casias, Eugene (Art) Casias and wife, Dorothy, Phil Casias and wife, Joanne, Johnny Casias and wife, Polly, James Casias and wife, Corina, Daniel Casias and wife, Gwen, and David Casias; 25 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. Agnes was 102 years old. She was born in Watrous, NM, and lived in Dawson, NM, and then in Albuquerque for the past 62 years. She was a wife of a coal miner, and a mother who gave everything and asked for nothing in return. She enjoyed a rigorous busy life enhanced by all the love given to her by her extended family and friends. Agnes will be missed and never forgotten.
