Eugene Arthur "Art" Casias, 86, passed away Friday, November 23, 2018, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was born in Dawson, New Mexico on April 2, 1932.

Art moved to Albuquerque in 1946 and graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1950; where he ran track and played football. He spent four years in the Air Force; and then graduated with a BBA from St. Joseph's College in Albuquerque.

Art spent over 30 years working in the Weapons Lab at KAFB where he retired as a Deputy Division Chief.

Art enjoyed many years of coaching and refereeing numerous youth sports.

He also served as a Eucharistic Minister at Sangre De Cristo Catholic Church.

Art was preceded in death by his loving wife of 49 years, Dorothy Alice (Vanceunebrock) in 2016; and his first wife, Renetta Mary (Duran) in 1960; his son, Arthur Donald Casias in 2014; his parents, Ignacita "Agnes" (Trujillo) and Maximiano Casias; infant sisters, Jennie and Beatrice; and three brothers, Maximiano Albert, James, and David Casias.

He is survived by five of his children: daughter, Theresa (Casias) Vallejo (Andres) and children Andres, Renetta, and Max Vallejo; daughter, Cecilia (Casias) Aragon and son Derrick Aragon; daughter, Elaine Armijo (Ramon) and children Eva Runnels, Adrian Armijo, Sarah Story, Anna, Elias, and Asa Armijo; daughter, Diane Hall (Craig) and children Ben and Jesse Sillivan; son, Tom Casias (Kari) and children Gavin and Taryn Casias; and his son, Arthur Donald Casias' children Burgandy and Simone Casias and Rachel Coffman; his brothers, Phil, Johnny, and Daniel Casias; and his sister, Marcella.
