Mrs. Mary C Weaver, 63, widow of Jacob R Weaver, died at her home, 262 Baltimore Street, this morning at 1:00 from a complication of diseases following an illness of two years. She had been critically ill since Tuesday.
The deceased was born in Fairfield, a daughter of Mrs. Margaret Walters Stoops, Virginia Mills, and the late John Stopops. For the last 17 years she resided in Gettysburg and was a member of the Trinity Evangelical and Reformed church. Her husband died June 4,1931.
In addition to her mother she is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Raymond Kane, York;
Mrs. Cloyd Shetter, Gettysburg; Clara, Iva and Dorothy Weaver, all at home; one sons, Charles L Weaver, Gettysburg; 12 grandchildren, and two brothers, D. R. Stoops, Virginia Mills and Charles Stoops, Middletown.
Funeral services form the Bender Funeral Home Sunday afternoon at 2:00 conducted by her pastor,
the Rev. Howard Schley Fox. Interment in the Fairfield cemetery.
