Alta E. Culver Walker is the daughter of Charles Clinton "Biddy" and Ella Adams Culver. She married James Clayton "Clate" Walker. She is the mother of Verl Clayton and Stanley Ray Walker, and Virgil Warn. She is the sister of Ethel, Blanche Marie Culver, Ralph Clinton Culver, Fred Culver, and Margaret Culver.

Mrs. Alta E. Walker, 76, 511 Pleasant Place, Toledo, a Jerry City native, died Sunday in Toledo State Hospital. She was born June 18, 1895 in Jerry City to Charles Clinton "Biddy" and Ella Adams Culver. She married James Clayton Walker who is deceased. She was a member of the Jerry City United Methodist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Vyrl, of Fayetteville, AR; Stanley Ray Walker, and Virgil Warn, of Toledo; two brothers, Ralph of Findlay and Fred of North Baltimore; a sister, Mrs. Glen (Margaret) Waltermire, also of Findlay and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Rippeth Funeral Home in North Baltimore, with the Rev. Duane Johnson officiating. Interment will be in the Jerry City Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today.
