w/o Newton W. Bosserman. Married: January 12, 1887.
Mrs. Willa A. Bosserman, widow of the late N. W. Bosserman, died at the home of her brother, Mr. John H. Bowman, in this city, on Wednesday morning, after a brief illness of pneumonia. Mrs. Bosserman drove out to the county on Easter Sunday to see her mother, and on her return complained of being chilly, and on Friday symptoms of pneumonia developed. Everything possible was done for her, but she grew steadily worse until the end came Wednesday morning. She was a most excellent woman and will be greatly missed in her community, and especially by her church in which she was an active worker. Mrs. Bosserman was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Bowman and was born at Arbor Hill in September 1860. In 1888 she was married to Mr. Newton W. Bosserman who died in 1905. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Mary Bowman, two sisters, Mrs. G. V. Hanger and Mrs. W. A. McComb, also four brothers, Messrs. J. H., C. P., L. L., and J. J. Bowman. The funeral took place yesterday afternoon from Mt. Tabor Church, of which she was a devoted member.
