BORGER - John Lewis White, 82, died Monday, Oct. 30, 2000.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Bunavista Baptist Church with the Rev. David Langen, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton / Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Mr. White was born in Standing Rock, Okla., and was a longtime resident of the Borger area. During World War II he served in the Army. He was a warehouseman for Lewis Supply and a member of Bunavista Baptist Church.

He married Dixie Gray in 1946 at Charles City, Iowa.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Julie Packebush and Kathie Higgins, both of Borger; a sister, Judy Landers of Borger; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
