Less that one year later, their first child, Oscar Mouthe Daniels, was born 19 Mar 1885 in Longview TX on Everdone Street. Family lore says his middle name is the last name of the midwife who delivered him. There are MOUTHEs in TX at this time but I haven't been able to confirm this story.
Second child, Luke Short Daniels, was born Feb 1888, also in TX, but county unknown. Long story on how he got his name also, read all about it on his fathers page.
On 12 Jan 1892, in Houston, Ollie gave birth to a girl, Sadie.
Tragedy struck on 18 Dec 1896 when Ollie and her 4th child both died. The death certificate does not give any details, just that Ollie hemorrhaged to death.

Both Mother and Child.
Mrs. O. S. Daniels, residing at No. 12 Peters place, in the Fifth ward, gave birth to a child yesterday which lived but a few hours, and the mother followed, dying at 6:15 o'clock yesterday evening. Mother and baby will be buried together at 3 p. m. today, in the Magnolia cemetery. (article graciously provided by Matt member#46559125)
Ollie and the baby are buried together without a stone, near her daughter Sadie Daniels Frank.
Ollie and Oscar are my gg-grandparents. If you have any information about them, I would dearly love to hear from you. Deb
