HORACE E. HULET
ARLINGTON - Horace Edgar Hulet, 55, well known resident in the county, died Sunday afternoon at Bishop DeGoesbriand Hospital, Burlington, following a brief illness. He was born in Shaftsbury Feb 9, 1901, son of Almon and Flora Perkins Hulet.
His schooling had been received in Shaftsbury and North Bennington. He had been engaged in farming most of his life. A member and former officer of Red Mountain Lodge F and AM, Arlington, he had been devoted to this order. He was also affliated with Red Mountain Chapter, Order Eastern Star, and a member of Taconic Grange, Shaftsbury.
Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Flora Hulet of Arlington; a brother, Bliss A. Hulet of Arlington and a sister, Mrs. Curnel Vaughn of West Arlington; several nieces and nephews and cousins.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 pm from Stevens Funeral Home with the Rev. Clement Belcher, rector of St. James Episcopal Church, officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm tomorrow.
