Marjorie Ellen was born in Brady, Texas to B.G. and Mary Hallie (Richman) Stuart. She was a 1955 graduate of Rochelle High School and attended Howard Payne University for three years. After college she moved to Waco with her sister, Barbara, and worked for Texas Life Insurance Company.

She met her future husband Floyd Bond at Columbus Avenue Baptist Church and they were married three months later on May 6, 1961, at Placid Baptist Church. She was a homemaker until 1976 when she went to work for Midway High School Cafeteria for 15 years. She worked several years for Midway ISD and Hewitt First Baptist Church as a custodian. Most recently she worked with her husband part time at Lakewood Christian Church and Hewitt United Methodist Church. She was a member of Hewitt First Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Floyd Bond; and two sisters, Patsy DeRamus and Judy Finn.

Survivors include her sons, James and David Bond, of Hewitt; daughter, Mary Alder and husband, Daniel, of McGregor; a brother, Joe Stuart and wife, Darlene, of Brady; brother-in-law, Don Finn, of Brady; sisters, Barbara Bennett and husband, Roy, of Liberty, and Mary Beth Moore, of Richland Springs; and numerous nieces and nephews.
