Funeral services for Lela Gerald Crowe, age 90, of Oak Grove, Louisiana will be held at 10AM on Saturday, August 26, 2006 at Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Grove.
Rev. Paul Ninemire and Rev. Roy Pepmiller will officiate.
Burial will follow in the New Forest Cemetery in Forest, Louisiana.
Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove.
Mrs. Crowe died Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at the West Carroll Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Crowe is preceded in death by her husband, Reginald C. Crowe; great grandchild, Stephanie Crowe; parents, Chetwood Gerald and Emma Jean Gerald; 3 sisters, Eunice Lewis, Vivian Rowell and Wilma McGarrity and a brother, Chetwood Gerald, Jr.
She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, A. G. and Mary Kathryn Crowe of Oak Grove; daughter and son-in-law, Annette and Quitman "Cat" Durbin of Oak Grove; daughter and son-in-law, Fay and Shorty McLemore of Fiske Union, Louisiana; son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Dearaline Crowe of Fiske Union; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Ellen Crowe of Oak Grove; daughter and son-in-law, Regina and Ricky Allen of Forest; son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Debbie Crowe of Forest; special caregiver, Angie Bynum; 21 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
