Gilbert Gleason, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Gleason, of Elk died Wednesday night from an attack of cerebro-spinal meningitis. He was fourteen years of age and had been a great sufferer during his brief span, as he had many attacks of serious illness. His parents and several brothers and sister survive. The funeral was held Friday by Rev. J. F. Witter, with interment at the Elk Cemetery. Since the death of the boy, the Gleason home has been released from quarantine.
