Funeral services were held Saturday for Steve Tamadge Prather, 12 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. F. S. Prather, who died last Thursday. Rites were conducted by the Rev. R. L. Bridges and the Rev. Stinson in the chapel of Moore's Funeral Home. Burial was in West View cemetery.
The youth died Thursday night in a local hospital, where he had been carried for treatment after accidentally swallowing gasoline he had been syphoning at his fathers service station.
In addition to his parents he is survived by three brothers, Erskin and James Prather of Milledgeville; Carroll Prather of Coffeyville, two sisters, Mrs. Virgie Mills and Mrs. P. E. Brown both of Milledgeville.
