Grace McClelland Clark was born November 21, 1902 in Ivanhoe, Bulloch County, Georgia. One of ten children, she was the daughter of William Madison McClelland and Manie Veranda Glisson McClelland and their eighth born child. Growing up she was a member of Old Fellowship Baptist Church in Bulloch County. Her husband was Frank Clark, and they had no children. Grace and Frank moved to Savannah, Chatham County, Georgia, living two doors down from her sister Edna McClelland Floyd. She was a member of the Eastern Star. Grace died on April 4, 1967 at age 64. Her ancestry was Scots, Scots-Irish, English, German, and--through the Martin and Strickland surnames--Native American (Lumbee).

Thanks so much to her sister Nevada McClelland Bell for much of this information. Any errors, however, are mine alone. Please go to the "edit" link on this site with any corrections or additions. If a closer relative than I would like to manage this burial site, please let me know.
