Mrs. Jean Bennie Goris, 61, 294 Cottonwood St., died after a lingering illness, Thursday, 9:20 p.m., at her residence.
Born Dec. 1, (sic) 1896, Park City to William and Catherine McNiel Bennie. Married to William Goris on Nov. 8, 1918 at Farmington. She was a member of the Methodist Church, and former resident of Bingham Canyon.
Survivors: husband, eight sons, four daughters, Major William, Limestone, Me.; Paul, Twin Falls, Idaho; Robert B., San Francisco; Chris, James, John, Harold, Mrs. Frances Bollinger, Midvale; George, West Jordan; Mrs. Helen Summers, Murray; Mrs. Mary Kern, Toledo, Ohio; Mrs. Catherine Gray, Magna; two brothers, John and Matthew, Washington, D.C.; Mrs. Margaret Savage, Reno, Nev.; 17 grandchildren.
Funeral Monday at 11 a.m., at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State, where friends may call Sunday from 7-9 p.m. or Monday prior to services. Burial in Midvale City Cemetery.
