Reba Bolls, 86, died Thursday, February 2, 1995 at a local nursing home.

She was a member of Gardendale Baptist Church. Mrs. Bolls was the former owner/operator of the Little Mexican Inn which she opened in Gladewater, Texas in 1944. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Alfred Samman on October 17, 1965; and her second husband, Clyde N. Bolls, on April 23, 1994.

Survivors include one daughter, Ammar R. Vines of Corpus Christi; two sons, Howard Purkaple of Texas City, Texas, and Jerry Purkaple of Snow Low, Arizona; three stepdaughters, Dorothy Raney and Ruth Peterson, both of Corpus Christi, and Catherine North of Oak Ridge, Texas; one stepson, James N. Bolls of California; ten grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 12 noon until 9 p.m. Sunday, February 5, 1995 with the family receiving friends from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, February 6, 1995 at Rose Hill Cemetery with Pastor Terry G. Fox officiating.
