Graduate of Bartlett High School, he served in the Army during World War II in the 69th Ordinance Ammo Co.
Later he worked for Lehr Construction Co. for 45 years before retiring.
He was a member of the former St. Augustus Catholic Church.
Preceded by; wife, Louise; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Mabin; son, Michael; and brothers, Guy, Clarence, Winfred and Lemuel Mabin.
Survived by; children, Jerry (Brenda) Mabin, Marvin Mabin and Josephine Mabin-Norman, all of California; Louis (Cynthia) Mabin, Texas; Ethan and Curtis Mabin ; and Angela Mabin Singleton, all of St. Joseph; Lonnie (Alexis), Kansas City, Mo.; 19 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
