Mrs. Herman W. Prieve of Forest City, died Thursday night, failing to recover from an operation last week. The funeral will be held Monday afternoon from the residence of the family and at two o'clock from the German Lutheran Church. Rev. John Guse will preach the funeral sermon.
Mrs. Prieve was born in this state July 1, 42 years ago and had been a resident of Meeker County for many years. She is survived by her aged mother, Mrs. Louise Groskreutz, her husband Herman W. Prieve, and eight children as follows: George of Harvey; Mrs. Willie Dornsbach, Forest Prairie; and the following children at home: Ben, Reuben, Rosella, Elmer, Oliver and Martha. One brother Herman Groskreutz and three sisters also mourn her death, Mrs. John Hoffman and Mrs. Walter Piepus, Litchfield, and Mrs. Herman Nieman, St. Paul.
