A Funeral Service for Edith Larue Mangum Potter of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Tad Rogers officiating. Visitation will be Monday, March 31, 2014 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm, at the funeral home.

Edith passed away March 25, 2014, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 92. She was born November 1, 1921, in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, the daughter of Joseph and Lillian Smith Mangum. She married Sidney Potter in 1949 at Fuquay-Varina and worked as an office manager for CW Wright Construction Company. Edith lived in Mountain Home since 1989, moving from Lake Gaston, North Carolina. She taught Sunday School for 70 years and enjoyed traveling with her family.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clyde Royall; second husband Sidney Potter; parents and sister, Eleanor Tutor.

Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
