Mrs. Mary Cloud Napier, native and lifelong Harlan County resident died at her home in Verda yesterday at the age of 76.
Her mother, Mrs. Jane Cloud, also is a resident of Verda.
Besides her mother, Mrs. Napier is survived by six children, Alex C. Napier, Evarts; Raymond Napier, Verda; Ewell Napier, Three Point; Walter Napier, Harlan, and Mrs. Lilly Morgan and Mrs. Rebecca Blevins, both of Verda; four brothers, Sherman Cloud, Cawood; Frank Cloud, Evarts, and George and Bill Cloud, both of Verda, and a sister, Mrs. Betty Cook, Evarts.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Verda Baptist Church. The Rev. Jackson Jones and the Rev. Ackles Wynn will officiate. Burial will be in the Turner Cemetery at Verda.
