Alice enjoyed quilting, was a fabulous cook, and enjoyed attending church at Rocky Mount Baptist Church where she was very active.
Others who survive her include: six children, 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and one sister.
Her daughter, Twila Arena Tannehill; sister, Roma Boatman and brother, George Brown, also preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 27 with services immediately following at 3:00 p.m. at Rekus Funeral Home in Eldon. Rev. Landon Chapman and Rev. Dan Duckworth will officiate. Interment will be in New Hope Cemetery near Kaiser.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
