Frank Cornie Brown was the son of Frank B Brown, proprietor of the Daily Democrat newspaper.

F Cornie was first married to Kate V Ingersoll, daughter of Dr Andrew J Ingersoll, who ran the Pinewood Sanitarium in Corning NY. Kate died 3 June 1887 at the age of 21 meaning she was born about 1866.

The only child of their union, Lenore Ingersoll Brown, died 11 June 1888.

Looking at the 1900 Federal Census, we find that around 1896 F Cornie married Lena whose maiden name I believe was Tabore whose parents would have been Louie and Clara Tabore (see 1880 Federal Census Jackson PA). Lena was born Jan 1872 in Pennsylvania. They had one child : Franklin Edwin Brown born 7 May 1897 in Corning NY (see his World War I reg card).

Looking at the 1910 Federal Census, we see that after F Cornie died in 1904, she re-married to Charles Stilwell and they lived in Ulysses NY. It appears that Charles and Lena had no children of their own.

Son Franklin : Looking at the 1930 Federal Census, we see that Franklin married Helen around 1920 and they were living in Middletown NY where he was working as a commercial trucker for an ice cream company. They had 3 children at the time : Joan M born about 1922, Confort T born about 1924, and F Cornie born about 1925 named after Franklin's father.

In the 1940 Federal Census we find Franklin and Helen still living in Middletown NY where he is a district manager for an ice cream company and Helen was running an antique shop out of their home. They have one more child : Donald born about 1937 in Middletown NY.
