ECKHART- Mildred Henrietta (Stark) Pryor, 97, of Eckhart passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at the Frostburg Village Nursing Center. Born August 15, 1916 in Eckhart she was the daughter of the late Henry M. Stark and Clara Mae (Snyder) Stark.
She is preceded in death by her husband Glen J. Pryor , an infant daughter Vicki Pryor, and a sister Laura Jean Soathoff. She was a member of Eckhart Methodist Church and she established and taught the Primary Sunday School Dept. for 40 years. She past President of the Eckhart PTA, and past Secretary of the County Council PTA.
She is survived by a son William L. Pryor, and wife Chirp, Bellville, GA; daughters, Carol P. Greise and husband Bernard ,Cumberland ; and Sharon Ann Tippen and husband Edward Eckhart; a brother John L. Stark, Eckhart; and brother in law Donald Pryor and wife Bonnie, Eckhart.
Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.
In accordance with Mildred's wishes her body will be cremated.
A graveside service will be held at Eckhart Cemetery on Monday, November 18, 2013 at 12:00 noon with Rev. George M. Harpold officiating. Sowers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be sent to www.sowersfuneralhome.com
